This is great, Anna. My little brother has some pretty cool photos from when he was in the Marines over there.... scary. You did such a wonderful job of conveying the feeling it should have.

this scares me. It is a wonderful picture but I have a marine friend named Joe and I would die if anything happened to him over there. Very very nice picture

this is just incredible, photographic. When I think of Iraq I don't think of trees and grass, this looks more like my back yard. That makes this piece even more frightening.

nicely drawn. i like the texture.

the soldier's pant legs though, makes me feel as though he's floating above it and simply has no leg below what you drew. it doesn't seem to imply that his legs continue into the grass. that would be my critique.
