My suggestion would be to use more highlights and shadows
right now you've used a lot of midtones. making your shadows darker and your highlights brighter will give this more depth
the style as it is looks pretty cool though

if you have a lo rez video card it looks like stone and it you geton a better computer it looks like it is made of clouds :P
great pic in like it on a lo rez card more it is very dark and sharper looking :P

thanks for all ur cool comments...i took them to heart and tried to put the advice in practical form....the darn layers went haywire so i cant finish it(looks totally different when i try to edit the image:( )

i find this painting of mine a bit odd....it reminds me very much of some russian style paintings/statues...almost communistic, but not as good of course

I don't know what you had in mind as your initial intention for this piece, but if it isn't what you envisioned it would be.... be satisfied for what it is now... it's a very interesting piece of art. I like the way the lines and colors meet and are all fluid together. You achieved something very aesthetically pleasing here.
