I'm trying to get back into mixed media, my latest piece called Collapse was painted with gouache and I used white pencil for the highlights. It's pretty distorted, I know. I'm using some photo reference for my next attempt and it won't be a zombie.

Cruddy near year old portrait of my friend Carrie.

Raven with a drinking horn. Had to do with Anglo-Saxon things (it was for English class), hence the drinking horn. And the raven because one of the god Odin's symbols was two ravens.

Heh, I doodle a lot, nothing that good. Hm... I have to say my favorite artwork that I created would have to be either a) A watercolor painting I did in art class, or b)A hand sketch with pencil I didn in art class. The pencil hand i well done, and i shaded, I kinda like it.

just a few of my new-ish drawings in my sketchbook... the first is of some girl rollerblading, the next is just a pic I drew when I was bored/for practice, and the last I drew... I don't exactly know why I drew it.. they are better than the drawings I draw on here lol but still not that great. tell me what you think of them please ^.^

Christiangirl-I definitely think they're cute :). It's good to see someone have a sketchbook and actually practice cause that's the only way you'll get better rapidly. Eventually, you might wanna try different profiles of the person too so that they aren't always facing forward. Good luck and keep drawing in that sketchbook :).
