Truly art! Moosh, this is such a beautiful drawing. I would love to have this hanging in my house. I especialy love the lighting of the picture, the detail in the fabric and water container. Congratulations for such a nice drawing :]
Oh wow! that is just beautiful! wonderful attention to detail. The clothes looks worn and well-used, the background looks very convincing. And you've done her face very nice, shading is superb. I also like the "eerie lighting". Makes me wonder whether it is day time or evening.
I like the picture, both because of your extremely great drawing talent and the very interesting subject! I like people from different parts of the world! <:)

Wow! So very very beautiful! Ahhhh, THIS is what I was waiting for. Something soo... yes. This. Exquisite work! Congrats on having this in the Showcase. Truly deserving. :-)
I LOVE this picture! Her clothes, the jar, the background, her face, EVERYTHING looks perfect! And she's so pretty! It looks exactly like the reference picture! Congrats on showcase! This picture DEFINATELY deserves it!
I have this terrible confession to make. I used to paint here for comments, critiques, help. Sometimes I would do a painting I liked and wonder why no one commented. Maybe they didn't like it or maybe they just didn't have time. I have been so negligent in not only commenting on things I see that are wonderful, but also in browsing at all. I viewed this painting briefly a few times and thought WOW, this is soooo good, this is rare talent, but I actually didn't have time to "stop and smell the roses" as they say. I had a moment of free time tonight, and I decided to spend it admiring this wonderful work of art. Every little thing about it is so perfect... the highlight on the pottery, the impending storm about to brew behind the deceptive puffy clouds, the wonderful colors you used to show the way that lighting would affect her "garb"... and that not old but before digital photography effect (maybe 70's 80's photography) that you have duplicated so well. I could endlessly admire dozens of paintings like this. You, my dear, have oodles of talent. Keep nurturing it. It makes me want to be there to offer to carry that jug for her. :)
very superior treatment;not artificial,or "photoish";I like the blue like shadows on the figure, and how the blue shadow tones meld the whole picture together.very beautiful.
