Anybody have any ideas for the body? I'm having trouble.

Reference can be found at: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20616957

Done for now, because I can't modify it anymore and I really want to keep the comments you all gave me. I'll delete it later if I ever am able to finish the other version.

Still have to finish the hair. I'm having trouble on what to do for her body... Anybody have any ideas?
hideyourface (Jul 16, 2005)
in the ref, her eyes are what stand out the most, but in your picture, I think they need to be bigger. Also the hair needs to be darker in the shaded spots. I think you could maybe do that with the burn tool. I'd stick with body in the ref. Nice colouring.

I agree.. the eyes are a tad small and the face angle is a little lower than in the reference. I think once you fix that..if you can.. the body can just be suggested...

The eyes are a tad crooked. But everyone has crooked eyes, so you can always use that as an excuse.
Shading is deliciously detailed. I agree with davincipoppalaq, a suggested body would be really neat-o looking
and would add more emphasis to the face, which seems to be the main focal point in the picture.

hey Iycene, you've done a great job so far. if it helps, i have some advise; Right nostril needs enlarging (keep the lips in proportion to the nose). Right cheek needs decreasing, and last but not least...amplify the eyes, make them bigger koz they real sweet to look at.

Don't use the burn tool. Please.
But amazing picture. Colors are great. I can't wait until it's done!

Here's some more things to look into:
The face is too wide from left to right (pull it inwards), left end of nose (from our view) needs to be pulled over to the left more so that it's partially past the tear ductof the eye, lower the upper right side of her lip (pull left corner up as well), pull chin in, use more darks on the makeup around the eyes, pull the entire mouth over to the bottom left side of the face, widen "her" left nostril. And most importantly, enlarge the eyes a bit and then shift "her" left eye below her right eye (right now it's backwards, and it's throwing off the angle of her face).
Hope that helps some...
