I watched a documentary about Chinese calligraphy. It was fascinating. As you said, the masters were at it for their whole lives and made symbols like this in four or five fluid movments of their brush.

i like the part where it looks kinda splotchyish... right on the widest curvy line. :) very nice job.

haha, thats cool... looks as if it were written with the brush.
yes, those chinese men are the masters and my grandpa is one of them...
it's just so amazing how fluid he can write, how any of them can in a matter of seconds...
