No. The site was not taken over. And no you're not required to draw Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh. In fact, unless you're pretty good (like hakkai), I suggest avoiding it. It will not improve your artistic skills nearly as much as other things will.

And since it's over I would like to ask everyone to stop talking like complete and total idiots if you do not want to be banned. It was funny in the beginning, but then some of you got out of hand (imo). I will reiterate over the newest 2draw rule put into effect in December:

I try with spelling. I have a big vocabulary but I don't have good spelling so I don't use it much on the computer. I am working on it though. Why would you guys go to so much trouble just to piss us off. Even though it was so damn funny why?

Sometimes when I'm unsure of the correct spelling of a word, or if my grammar is alright, I have Microsoft Word open just in case. Good place to edit; you can always copy and paste it in here once it sounds fine.

There's a reason dictionary.com is one of the first bookmarks in my browser's bookmarks bar. I check my forum posting and IM conversations a lot with it.

well regardless of if it matters in whatever situtation I'm in, I get annoyed at my own typos. So even if someone else doesn't care if I make a typo I still don't like them myself.

Though, to add to the controversy, I believe that, as long as it's obvious they are at least making an effort to spell, type, and write properly, they should not be punished regardless of if they do not have perfect spelling or grammar, because grammar and spelling are actually pretty hard, and I swear the typo demon is out to get everyone. o.o ..My grammar and spelling may both be horrible, yet I am not so lazy as to abbreviate such already small words like you, are, see, ect.

Don't forget, there is an edit button... It's not like your comments are etched in stone, you can go back and fix them too.
