I hope this is the right board to post ^.^; I'm new to the site and working on my first drawing... and I noticed that my applet crashes whenever I try to use the rectangular/oval selection tools. Everything just quits working ~.~ I'm usually in Float mode, but the same happens in docked mode, too. Does it have anything to do with my browser? I use Firefox.

Hmm...although I don't use Lascaux, I find that nothing ever stops working on me when I'm drawing using Internet Explorer.I'm not exactly a computer wiz either, so it's just a suggestion if you happen to have that browser?

Try using 'alt' and 'D' after you're done using certain tools to deselect those tools. Try it twice if it doesn't work the first time...it helps and then you can continue.

I use Internet Explorer and the samething happens to me with Lascaux...so its not your browser.

Thanks ^.^ Yeah, the selection tool doesn't even actually seem to WORK, so deselecting the tool doesn't work for me either... thanks for the suggestions and info though!
