No. TImer isn´t a problem. I see many people talking that if you spent more time in a pic, It gets better, but the thing is EFFORT =D Only pratice and your draws will get better!

Um. yes. the timer is a problem. If you spend more time on a drawing, it will get better.

Just a suggestion, but if you have trouble drawing stuff from imagination, drawing using a reference can help you both with your imagination and technical skills.It'll probably even get you working better with the tools for that matter :).
