I was saying hello to your character.. and then I asked YOU what a digitizer was.. we call them tablets. You don't necessarily need one, many of the very bests artists here (see Aubrey) use a mouse!

I'm not too great with this sorta stuff... but.. here's some shading... I hope it's what you wanted. Oh and I read a comment about them not recognizing that she's a female, so I decided to feminine her up. lol Hope that's alright.

Lips were a little red.. wants her to look a little "nature girl"ish.. shading was maby a little too extreme.. changed it a bit..

Wow... you made it so fantastic Cloxboy! You did not change the shapes at all, but added alot of realism in the drawing. And the skin shading matches the hair too! <:D
