nothing wrong with trying different styles and expanding your vocabulary. it's not like you can't then come back to manga style. in fact, you'll find your manga improves after practicing other styles.

lol sorry if that sounded like I was dissing you in any way...i dunno, I'M just not a huge fan of anime....but like anything else, if its done right it can look really cool...and theres a lot of you that do it very well :)
