I'm thinking about not going to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Supposedly, they don't even take portfolios. As long as you have a big check, you're in. So they let anyone in with money. Do you have any good reccomendations for a college in California? I can't afford to go out of state.

Do you know of a place with a nice city-scenery? Somewhere that's fun and exciting? Somewhere that will be worth the money that's put into it and where the teachers can give you the proper input you need on your work? Where you can find a part-time job? Where you won't be dumped on your ass after college and instead will be given a direction towards a job you *DO* want to head towards?

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Dude, you could go to any art college that you wanted Sheri; you're so freaking talented :P I would kill to go to the University of the Arts (in Pennsylvania, I believe), but it's too far away. You could get a full ride there, I'm sure. Just flash 'em a little leg, I think that'd do it.

i'd say Loyola Marymount University. Its not primarily art, but the program is excellent and it fits pretty much all of your other requirements. <edit: its probably too late already, but whatever ^__^>
Cal Arts (california Institute og the Arts) is also supposed to be top-notch. and Otis. thats all i an think of ^^
