well points could be traded into cool features. but I really don't want to put any significance on points. they're just there to stop spammers/vandals/abusers basically.

Just out of curiosity, how do you take down a spammer "if" (a BIG "if") one of your long time users suddenly started spamming nonstop?I mean if they got about a 1000 points, it may take a while^^;.....unless of course, you plan on giving them critical point deductions to speed up the process :P.
