I sketched a picture almost identical to this on paper while I was at the beach, combining a small photo I saw in something at the house and by watching the surfers all week. Sigh. I want to go back.
(Almost every time I loaded this to revise it I got distracted with other things, so I'm not sure exactly how long it took but I know it wasn't nearly as long as it shows)

Sand castles are a very good reminder that all of the things that we put so much effort into in this world and think are so important at the time are just going to be kicked over or washed away by the tide eventually.

Actually, I think I'm usually pretty predictable, but when I'm unpredictable most people find it pretty annoying.

I love the sky and the water,, but the guy is a bit blurred for me. (You know what a pain in the ass I am about sharpness..I'm very predictable)

You always do water and skies so well.I think I also like the surf board there :).It's a lil bit blurry but hey, I can take it.I don't even know how you build a palette for these^^;....

Well, he started out as just a dark silhouette..I intended to leave him that way, but then I just blopped some paint splashes on him and I guess that's why he appears to be blurry. The rest of it I just wanted to have that soft fuzzy kind of look.
