This is fantastic! Love the choice for the background color....it just sets off the piece so nicely. This is what I would expect to see if Lonewolf and Cub were fully handpainted.

Awesome pic, man.Sorta reminds me of Cao Cao from DW.But the sword seems kinda unfinished?Were you gonna work on that later or was that intentional?The character himself looks great though.

Thanks, wasn't planning on putting detail on the sword. But I could add some shading if you think it'd make you look any better.

I really dig this...I am studying to become a samurai and when I saw this I found it to be very uplifting. However, his family crest is missing. Has he renounced his family heritage or were you unaware of this requirement? My favorite part of this is the Odachi he is weilding.

this is from seven samurai, the character toshiro mifune played, i think he wasn't supposed to be a real samurai or even come from any respected lineage, but was the son of a farmer
