getting a bit tired of drawing. so many little metal bits. X_X
emmamommalag (Aug 10, 2004)
Wow, yes.. all that metal.. this one's going to be a project. Pretty sky!
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Aug 10, 2004)
OH MY GOD! It's as if I am really there! You're sky is beautiful and the theme is quite calming. Very nice! I can't wait to see what's next!
davincipoppalag (Aug 10, 2004)
No wonder..alotta little metal bits in this.. Nice picture. The sky is well done, as are the tracks.
Aubrey (Aug 10, 2004)
That's nice Marcello. Little itty bitty intricate details are a pain I know. So time consumin. But it looks like it's worth it! I lik ethe sky alot and even the frame structure, and the railroad. Nice.
Hakkai (Aug 10, 2004)
Mmm. The sky looks yummie, but the metal parts aren't done yet. Aww o_ò;.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Aug 10, 2004)
Very good job on the lighting on the clouds... already has that evening effect. I think the perspective is probably good on the structure... but I'm no expert there... it just looks right to me. Where are we?

yea...so...um. busy with stuff, don't think I'll work on it anymore tonight
Anna (Aug 11, 2004)
This is comin' out nicely. I, too, love that sky. Can't wait to see it done :)
spiritdweller (Aug 25, 2004)
I never said how much I like this.... Marcello, I like this
Axil62 (Aug 25, 2004)
I like this one too. The perspective is dead on and the detail in the tracks and couds are great. Finish this one ya big fat asshole.
spiritdweller (Sep 13, 2004)

got sick of it again...
Zack (Nov 5, 2004)
You burnt the bush? Your subtle political symbolism doesn't escape me. Nice metal structures, though.

mazi (Nov 20, 2004)
*coughbumpcough* nice. picture.
Hakkai (Nov 20, 2004)
Hurrah, you finally finished this! I love the beams and what not. o_o; I already mentioned that the sky looked yummie.
Anna (Nov 20, 2004)
mmm, glad you got this one done. :-) and .. I still love the sky.
Xodiak (Nov 20, 2004)
Fantastic... very realistic, awesome perspective and I like the "sketchy" lines on some of the objects, it gives them a very realistic texture... you are great Mr. untimely awesome!

davincipoppalag (Nov 20, 2004)
This is one of your best, bar none.
Childlike_Vampire (Nov 20, 2004)
This is damn spiffy. I especially enjoy the rafters/bars/thingies at the top, and the overall detail is very pretty.
sincity (Nov 20, 2004)
Take it home Marcello!! HA! clox cracked me up! thjis is really well done, I like everything about it. reminds me of some places I used to play as a kid in N.Y.

Wraith (Jun 21, 2007)
WOW nice! from a distance away from my PC, it's like an actual photo!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2007)
I'm so lost in a big world... I liked this so much in the beginning, and it turned out perfectly, and I never saw it after the first revision.... because I was.... lost? This feels to me like driving through the panhandle or deep west Texas where you see... NOTHING for endless, tailbone aching miles... and then you see something like this and you go "WOW"!!!! I see something!!!! Doesn't matter what it is... it's something besides dead grass, rusty barbed wire or skinny cows. (you live in New Mexico and you travel a lot, so I know you know what I mean :) This is great.

I have the TV on and it's on that show "Cheaters"... the show would be WAY more interesting if the stupid people that enlist the guy in the black jacket with the camera to tell them what they already know were armed with a shotgun, dont'cha think?

Where was this, if you don't mind my asking? (and even if you do, I better get a straight answer. :)
marcello (Jun 21, 2007)
it's near (maybe in?) albuquerque coming by train from the west
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2007)
Been allllll around that area. (Not by train, I was in my truck, of course, so I *barrrrumped* over the railroad tracks :) I love Albuquerque, it's a beautiful city full of art and interesting people. I always make it a point to hang out there several days when I travel through New Mexico. You are much more talented than you let us see.... I suspect it's a lack of time and because you're disciplined enough to channel your energy towards your education, but I often wonder what will happen when you find the time to "cut loose" artistically.

So.... don't you think they should arm the innocent party on "Cheaters" with a shotgun before the guy in the black jacket with the camera sneaks up on the cheaters? WELL? Wouldn't the ratings be a lot higher? lol
sincity (Jun 21, 2007)
Holy shit balls!!!! How did I not comment on this?! :}
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2007)
I need some more Anasazi beans. I know I can order them, but since my last child just flew the nest, I'm a FREE BIRD and I could go grocery shopping at Wild Oats in Albuquerque just for the hell of it. Maybe I'll pass by whatever the inspiration for this was. How can one be expected to do without Anasazi Beans, anyway? I love the excruciatingly worried look on my husband's face lately, it's priceless."I'm going grocery shopping, hon, I'll be back in two weeks". :D
DorsY69 (Jul 28, 2008)
WOAH!!!!! I can't believe this is a drawing..it is a photo! Now THIS is called ART O.O The perspective is so perfect!
Axil62 (Jul 28, 2008)
No, it isn't perfect.
DorsY69 (Jul 28, 2008)
It is "dead on" as you said previously ;)
Axil62 (Jul 28, 2008)
Nope, I was wrong.
