You sure captured all of that in this one.. (my guy was riding outta this scene) Only 2 comments on this?? Folks must not be scrolling down this far and are missin it! It sucks to work that hard on a pic and have nobody say anything!

What can I say? DBA's great, this is great, the colors in it are great. I particularly like the bushes in the landscape and the hint of green/gray in the shadows. The only criticism I can give is that the way the clouds seem to stop short of the top edge and corners is awkward. I'd rather see the clouds go off the edges of the painting. Of course, that might be what you are planning to do next, seeing as this is unfinished.

lol davin, you are sweet to worry about it. I don't really consider this work "elitist" material, (I haven't really worked hard on it, just long) and since it took so terribly much space and I wanted to piddle with it for a while I posted it here. It's kind of the way I would do an oil painting that I wasn't sure exactly where it was going... I'd put it in a corner for a few months and go back to it later.

That's purdy Cindy, you're like me with paintings then lol. I let one I did of a basketball player sit for months.. then would do another area.. then let it sit... do another... took a year and a half to finish it. The wait though.. much like this one.. was well worth it. It's always nice to come back to it with a fresh mind. This is very pretty.

Thanks, Aubrey... I have a closet full of unfinished paintings, though. lol I don't know if I'll come back to this one again or not. Lots of stuff I could do to it, but for some reason I got bored with it.

you know, I seriously considered deleting this monstrosity today, especially after I saw that it posted over something pretty Marcello was working on. I kinda don't like this picture, but I guess it has enough merit to exist, at least. I just wish I hadn't posted it on this board.

Because it's not finished.... lol...I have to finish Beauty's dress. She's too naked for public ! Well, I don't think I know how this board works either, because they let me draw on it, LMFAO, but I think it's supposed to be like the quality of Icats and Aubrey's drawings. :)

dba: you can be elite, but it doesn't mean all the drawings have to be. it's basically to allow for larger canvases.
