Yeah, I think DBA needs to go paint a whole bag o' marbles. I think there plenty of us who could stand a refill. This is beautiful by the way. Very nice job with the lighting.

Great picture. I particularly like the shadow and the light flare. I would not trade for this particular marble, though, I never liked the "clearies" that had alot of bubbles. Mine were all nearly perfect.

That's awesome. Looks more like a superball to me, though, probably because the highlights on the marble look somewhat blurry.

Whenever I go on a trip somewhere, I like to get superballs from any dispensers I pass by as mementos of the trip. I heard some people do the same thing with stones. Never did see any stone dispensers, though.

edit: Excellent detail, btw... even got the blurred far edge of the shadow.

Wow, this is one great picture of a marble. I used to work for a company that gave you a bag of marbles when you started. Every time you did something stupid, they would take away a marble. When you lost all your marbles, they made you a supervisor. nice shadow work, and highlight.

i saw a picture like this on DA, but it was a white marble, and this is better ;)
