Oh really? I hope he hires someone to kill you.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
Be kinda hard for him to do since he's dead.
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
I hope all that is directed at her and not me.
Zack (Jun 6, 2004)
That's just what he wants you to think. He's actually planning on going on a bloody rampage to get back to you in an action packed thriller filled with enough suspense, plot twists and turns to make you want to puke.

After that he's going to run for governor of California.
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)
Of course it is.
Noremac (Jun 6, 2004)
woah woah woah.... calm down folks, i dont me to butt in but, this is innapropriate, axil, calm down, she didntACTUALLY do anything
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 6, 2004)
Okay, good. And good. And no, he's really dead, she's sure of it.
edit: Oh good! We're doing something inappropriate. Yes, she did, too, she really did something.
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)
Are you guys nuts? I'm not calling DBA a whore. Jesus, she drew one so I was commenting. Keep it cooooooool bebez...keep it coool...
Zack (Jun 6, 2004)
she's dead too. dead SEXY
Noremac (Jun 6, 2004)
ok. just worried cause countless fights have started like this online just trying to keep the peace
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
It's okay, Noremac. We all just love each other to death.
Zack (Jun 6, 2004)
Yeh, they just don't express it with little ASCII hearts, 'glomps,' smiley faces or over-the-top praise of each other's work. This admiration-through-insults is actually rather refreshing. Marcello would be proud.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
I get sick of being nice all the time, anyway, don't you? (And she did just love her husband to death, literally. HAH)
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)
If I were tointerview her I'd say something like..
"So did you graduate?"
"Yes, I did'
", what did you do before you decided to lick balls and ass for a living?"

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
And she would reply "Why, do you require other skills?"
bumpinthenight (Jun 6, 2004)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
I can just shoot it for you, and it will stay down forever.
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)
No no no, that simply won't do, that would be perverted.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 6, 2004)
So I don't get the job? ;)
Axil62 (Jun 6, 2004)

Childlike_Vampire (Jun 6, 2004)
Oh hell yes, this picture is totally fkn sexy. I love this. For once, my favorite part isn't the bo0bs (which are very nice, lol), but the shoes!

...or the hair. Hmmm....

*will ponder the issue while staring at the wonderful-ness of the drawing*
Gigandas (Jun 6, 2004)

davincipoppalag (Jun 7, 2004)
Poor gal is going to be very disappointed..there was a two year exclusionary period for sudden deaths in that policy.. looks like the diner will have a new waitress soon. You did a great job on the shading on this one Mizz Cindy.. it looks like a black and white photo.. very nice work
Pandora (Jun 7, 2004)

tyjsfhjsfhj (Jun 7, 2004)
ha cindy ur such a good artist but why did every one make a big deal bout it
EverDream (Jun 8, 2004)
Alright I just have to ask....You've been doing a lot of amazing work...and I really like your bull rider pic, but I've been having a thought that's been picking at the back of my mind for quite some time now. For most of your works do you use actual photo referances or are they off the top of your head? You don't have to answere but I was just wondering that. Nevertheless though...keep up the awesome work DBA! XD
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jan 29, 2007)
I do some of both, and sometimes I take an idea I have for a painting, and if the complexity of the subject matter warrants it, I might refer to an object or photograph of something to make sure I get the proportions and everything correct. (For example in the bluebonnet pic I did recently, I looked at a photo I have of a strip of road to make sure the perspective was right, and then the trees and flowers and prickly pears and stuff I put in from memory, because I am so familiar with that subject matter) -(So that particular exact scene doesn't really exist :) Sometimes doing a painting depicting a photograph exactly makes a great work, but usually something needs to be changed in it (most of the time the composition is screwy or something). I used a photo ref for this particular one. Most artists that do realism refer to something, whether it be a photograph or to pile apples up on the table or to stand in a field with their easel. Working from photos will make you 90% better for when you want to arrange things on canvas off the top of your head, it's great practice.

edit: also, I think it's really important to be able to emulate what is in a photo, as well as to change it at the same time if you are a serious artist - I had a local rancher commission me once to do 5 of his cows drinking from a water trough, with their reflections... he handed me a photo that was taken of them and said "I want it to look exactly like that, except that was taken in winter. Make it spring."
Aubrey (Jun 9, 2004)
Another amazing picture Cindy, everything about it is nicely done. You're a masterpiece-makin-MACHINE aren't you?
Cordelia_Pink (Jul 11, 2004)
aww.. i wish you did this picture in okaki-shi or another applet where you can actually see the animation because I'd love to see how you do some of your drawings. sometimes it's not always appealing to see the finished product (although in most cases it is) but it's also nice to see HOW it's been done. lol I like this piece too. very... um, well, the subject matter is matured and lol not for young adults to watch lol j/k. Anyhow good job. Reminds me of those black and white movies with the scantily dressed and wild behaviored women in the clubs lol like in the picture. Really neat. Just the picture, not really the girl, I mean she's not really that amusing to look at but I like how you made the whole picture seem so interesting.
