The pupils, well, mainly the iris of all the eyes you make... They are too light. Watercolor is great for them, but you should adjust the AP (?) level of them. It will concentrate more.
Or just let it color in more when you do so. In fact, if they were darker, it would make the pic look a lot better.
Maybe just darken the irises a bit, and especially darken it near the center.
Ooo! I lub Doggies! X3! The only thing I can tell you to improve on this is that the hind legs are supposily curved forwards. n_n; I lub the pretty colors you used on the background!!
