Eagles are very hard.. good job on the head/beak/eye..that's one of the hardest things to do right.. now ..the challenge of the breastfeathers and the wings.. good start!

Looking good but the clouds could be a improved on.... try using screen layers to get a "wispy" effect :-D

This was hard, I know. Things going on at your house? What things? What could that possibly be? *Tightens tie on old raggedy house robe and Looks through giant dust bunnies and smoke from burning dinner to see if husband has left her yet or child protective services has taken daughter away for neglect* Dang, everybody's still here. (lol) The main thing I see that you could improve upon next time is to put a little more detail in the darker feathers. If you are working from a photograph and you don't see any detail, it is still (for some reason) necessary to give it some so that the work will appear balanced. I think it's good, and don't you wish life would stop interfering with our hobbies?!! ;)
