ah i feel better now...the thought of an axil-less 2draw was somewhat unnerving... this pic is so cool, it seems like the face is nearly photographic while the shirt and bg are more painted..i think i'll try this lascaux...some really nice things are coming from it.

Yep, Axilless 2draw would not be good. I would prolly still draw, but it would be depressing and I'd get bored w/ no Ax Pics to look at. Or Pick Axes? oh well.... Glad you're back, still handsome, and did a great job of drawing yourself.

Ref pic didn't load for me either, but I'm sure your depiction is quite accurate.

you need to copy the url and paste it in your browser, geocities has direct linking blocked. Alternatively, if axil wanted, he could make a simple html page and throw the image on it, then link to that. geocities won't complain about that.

Looks good, but when compared to the reference, I think you made the forehead a bit too big relative to the rest of your face, and gives a much different presense. then again, perhaps that was intended.

The forhead did look too big. I think a tad more shade on the right (our left) helped make is look better. I think that's as close as I'm gonna get with this thing. Making it that small was a mistake, one pixel in the wrong place can screw the whole thing up.
