A bright blue background would be pretty with this. I like the angle/take on the bird. It's different.

Oh, good, you're working on it again! I wondered periodically where this one went. Doing a great job on the feather details (I see right between his wings some of the details you've already put in and it's great)
edit: Oh, wouldn't change anything about the shape of the tail feathers, you've got the angle/perspective down so well on them that they actually appear to be curving upwards in the middle like they're supposed to
