This is the first tuturial of anything I have ever made. It's help on how to understand what layers ARE and how I tend to use them to help my drawing. I think it's pretty self explanatory, lol.

Okie dokie. I made this to visualize more what people try to describe. I am not very good at explaining things consicely, and people tend to lose interest when I try. So here you go, hope this helps someone!

oh that is so cool...lol..thanks so much, it really clarifies how to use them, oh how many little blurry lines can be eliminated from trying to erase a mistake and colour it in lol.background..blocking, and detail.... beautiful! thanks again. now if i can just figure out how to click from one layer to the next without losing my mind lol...ah well time to go practice practice practice :O)

I hope the blonde isn't the one explaining this. ;) I wish something like this had been here when I stumbled into this place. Then again, I probably wouldn't have gone to see, anyway. One Christmas Eve I was racing daylight because I put my son's tricycle together with the handlebars on backwards because I hate reading instructions. :)
