I was going to draw a female evlan assassin, being cool, nothing bloody at all. And something evil slipped into my mind, and I end up drawing another bloody evil picture. And turn out to be a male assassin. Still trying to figure out what background would be better. suggestions are welcome

wow awesome. it'd be nice to extend the brightness of the face onto the clothing though i think? the face/hair are nicely contrasted and the rest seems somewhat duller.

Retouch the hand, add more lighting contrast to the clothes like some of you suggested. ;)
and add a few cuts on his shirt.
and don't ask me how can a skull has hair without flesh on it, 'cuz it's a stupid mistake i didn't realize when i drew it. >.< this version took me probably 30 min instead of 10, 'cuz i had to refresh the browser to get teh pen back

A skull could have hair w/ flesh under it w/out having flesh all the way down the face. I didn't think it was male until I read your comment - I was thinking "Aww, look what she did to her poor lil ole boyfriend." lol

Only thing I can see you might need to do to make the background work is to make the skull in the background recede a little more or something. Really cool work.

Schweet! For a second I thought its head was on backwards because of the collar-LOVE the hair on the elf and the skull. Good use of blur in the back to bring focus to the front. *applauds*

Heh, I didn't use blur tool in the back. I just didn't put much contrast and detail in the back. For that weird backward head, yep, It's the silly collar. That type of collar always make you look like head on backward. thank you for the comment!
