Due to the complete lack of popularity, I'm thinking of dropping the theme board.

Feel free to prove me wrong... it's not easy to come up with good themes (hence the lack of good themes), and when there are 2 drawings, it kinda defeats the purpose.

what if we come up with bigger better stronger, and dare I say Sexier themes?......or give us more time then a week for a theme......Im gonna miss the theme board....

I guess I'm pretty dense, but I don't see what that has to do with the fact some of us have ideas. Especially since we never thought you had such a problem of thinking topics up.

Suggestion, if you don't mind listening. If you're planning on killing it, lay it on someone who says they have 'ideas' as a 'second chance' first. I liked the Theme Board.

Try something objective. Like 'Guitar' or 'Lemonade'. You know... objects. Right. Or try for holidays, of course. Valentine's Day soon. Every day life? Telephone, Surgery, The Mall. Or even other countries. Britain, Russia, Australia... Or mythological creatures. Unicorns, mermaids, dragons.

those are kinda boring themes, cept maybe surgery. and I don't think people need encouragement to draw unicorns, mermaids or dragons...

I think that one thing that will help loads is if u made it a little longer for a theme to be up. I nkow there are times that i want to do a theme but an idealess as to how, or by the time i figure out something funny or clever, its too late.
maybe on account that im slow.......idunno

Well the point of the theme board is to give you ideas. so obviously it's not working very well...
as for having themes up longer, doesn't matter to me if people would prefer that...

But.... but... I love the theme board! *deep sob* I can only really use it in the summer though, when I actually have more free-time in a week to spend on a quality posting. I think that if you had the same theme for, say, a month or three weeks, there might be more posts.

While keeping a theme up for longer could yield more draws per theme, it's likely that it would also equate to less draws overall. I would think people are less likely to post twice on the same theme than on two seperate ones. That being said, I like the theme board (especially the idea box), and don't care greatly what is done to it as long as it continues to exist.

OH MAN!!! Should have read the rest first... I was so sad, I didnt press "view all" to see all the comments, and went straight to draw! Lol...
Anyway... marcello... your plot worked, i mean, i feel really guilty. Oh and one last thing: I agree with what DinoFlorist says... I dont care what the theme is, just as long as the theme board stays, I promise to draw more on the theme board now.
