this is a deffinite shot in the dark...but i have to ask just in case..

I've been working on a picture since about 9pm last night and i had the window on float. I accidentally closed the original window and when i hit dock, the whole freaking thing dissapeared and my 10 hour drawing along with it. Is there no way at all to get it back?

This has so ruined my night -_-

these kind of places always confuse me and just when i get the hang of it...I lose something relatively good.

Someone shoot me.

sry, but for all i kno, there is no way of getting it back unless u sent it in at some point during the time u where drawing it... thats why u do safety saves on pics that u dont wanna loose...

Hmm. You could also try Screencapping regularly. It saves a lot of hassle and unhappiness.

Do you know how to Screencap? The PrintScreen Key (sometimes called PrntScrn) is pressed while you are on the Drawing Applet page with the image on it... Go into some art program, such as Windows Paint, and Paste it. You get a snapshot of the screen you were on when you pressed PrintScreen. Now you can just crop your picture using a selection tool of sorts. (From Keyboards I've seen, the PrintScreen key is usually above or near the arrow keys. (Joypad) )

Which applet were you using?

You know, the reason for screencapping is to save it for yourself, and half the reason most people draw here is to show it to others. All, and all, your best bet is to either safety save more, or open the same applet with the same size and hope it restores the applet along with the picture. However, since this was so long ago, I highly doubt that's still possible. But try anyway. Just for the sake of the opportunity to get you drawing back.
