This is an awsome pic, but rather than having the mecha end in a squat and cockpitless "head" it might be better to draw a cockpit extending up and off of the canvas. Just a suggestion, but this pic is destined for greatness regardless of whether you take my suggestion or not.
Doesn't look cockpitless to me, you must be confusing it with other styles of mechs. As for squating, it's not doing that either, as far as I can tell, he's just doing extreme perspective.

I am extremely sorry for my uninformed comment. I can see now that the crotch is indeed the head. I shall stop pestering my elders with my lack of exotic mecha knowledge, though perhaps it is not so exotic as, now that I think back, many mecha had their pilots situated between the legs. Sorry about the mistake and I hope qusiLuNG did not take it as an insult.
