yeah, only cartoon to make it in showcase and the picture is not "polished" or "slick" or "photo-realistic"---thank God!!But it is very good. |

it's very good.but I just wonder why some things are chosen for show case,and other artists who are also incredibly good,are never chosen.What's the criteria,anyhow?I thought for a long time,it was just photographic perfection,but this one is not.so is it polish?finished quality?style?professionalism?hard to tell what the show case people are thinking,but then again,I could never tell why the Academy Awards were chosen the way they were,too.

i luv it so much that i am too busy with other stuff to explain why i like it so much. because right now my grandma is yelling at me! she is telling me that i need to take out the trash and wash the dishes and clean her room and clean the bathroom and all the other stuff a teenager has to do! i have no time at all to tell you why i like this drawing so much because i have all these chores to do! i am so sorry i wish i could tell you! oh no! my grandma is coming with the knife! you use the other side of the brain? you mean, just take a picture, and view it very objectively, minus any meaning to the picture? your brain just photographs it literally?

It results in forcing you to see more accurately what you're looking at rather than drawing a preconceived notion of what something looks like. Everyone does that unconsciously.
