Hate hate HATE these things.... Gave me a shiver all the while I painted it. Had to walk away a few times... The only good thing is I haven't gotten sloppy using a mouse.... God i hate these. Brrrrr.

The antenna may be a little off but I can't look at this anymore.

Ohh, I must have missed that one Poppa, I LOVE Black Widows (I know wierd right?) They're just so beautiful with that red hourglass on their stomache. And well who doesn't like an insect where the female calls all the shots ends up getting satisfied after.. *heeheehee*

Thanks both of you.
emmamommalag (May 5, 2006)
You're the second person I've heard of who has a fear of moths. My niece panics. Great job on the details.. you're very brave. :)

ewwww That thing that you drew was on my sliding glass door when I was letting the dog out. I have never seen feathery feelers before...ewwwwwwww I now understand your phobia

Playing around with techniques. Still need to try some with some tweaking in colors but hey. THere are some things I like (lips, eyes) and some that need some serious fixing (nose) I suck at skin tone but thought this was a lil better than usual. LOL

I like those eyes, too Jana
emmamommalag (May 5, 2006)
Me too! And the skintone looks pretty good to me.
Felistorm (May 6, 2006)
I finally figured out what was bugging me about this one. (besides too much red hue. I used red as a base) The eyes should be lower set on the face. :) about where I've got the shadow starting I think. And a lil more shadow on the side of the nose. :P (yes it was bugging me. LOL) Anyone know of some good books to use for ref. on people?

Hello hello Prakash, nice to see you, been a while. More and more people coming over from the youdraw pond. Hope you stay awhile and play.

And don't worry, it's hard to figure out at first but you'll learn and get the hang of things.

You're doing some great silhouettes. This one reminds me of the Marlboro man.

thank you emmamommalag

Oddly eniff Tiff, the sig really does not bother me and i am a FANATIC about bad sigs in the wrong places and the wrong colors ruining the pic. If you do soften it, it will change the pic but still look good, just different. :)

Wonder Woman!
Wonder Woman!

All the world is waiting for you
and the power you possess
In your satin tights
fighting for your rights
And the old red white and blue

Wonder Woman!
Wonder Woman!

Now the world is ready for you
and the wonders you can do
Make a hawk a dove
stop a war with love
Make a liar tell the truth

Wonder Woman!
Get us out from under, Wonder Woman

All our hopes are pinned upon you
and the magic that you do
Stop a bullet cold
make the axis fold
change their minds and change the world

Wonder Woman!
Wonder Woman!

You're a wonder, Wonder Woman!

I didn't mean use a manga and anime style.
I mean use a newer Marvel or DC style, I prefer marvel.
I like the old school comic styles but the new comic styles have a much cleaner and more appealing look.
It wouldn't be much of a change for you cause their all very similar styles.
I just don't see many people using the old style anymore.

Have you seen any of the new marvel comics lately??

My favorite marvel artist team is:
Humberto Ramos - pencils
Wayne faucher - inks
They did the first few vols of The Spectacular Spider-man And Venom.
Their style is a little further away from traditional marvel style then most.

If you haven't read the House of M you really need to, It's a must for marvel fans.
And it has a good newer marvel style.
Miss_DJ (Apr 15, 2006)
this is another great one!!
Sweetcell (Apr 15, 2006)
Ah, I see now, I kinda thought you meant that but I wasn't sure, well if you notice there's a definate manga type influence in the newer forms, they've all learned how to stylize by drawing the forms in a certain way, I've looked it up and I've done things similiar on pencil, so I'll try.

Thank you Miss Donna, always appreciate it.
