shes wondering which piece got deleted and why it was ten points taken off when it was only a 5 point piece lol. i really wish when theres an unusual situation like that and double points are taken off the mod could take a sec to explain why. i understand u folks dont have all the timein the world but hey, if i earn 5 points, and its deleted and i lose 5 points, i understand, but i lost ten and id like to have known why.

Time for lesson on points!!!
Ok, first, you submit something as unfinished, you get NO points!! wooO!
Now, you set it to finished, and woo you get points!!! woo!!! 5 on beginner!!!
Ok now someone deletes it, not only do you lose the 5 points you got, but 5 more points to remind you to follow the rules. So that's losing 10 points, but only 5 more than you originally had.
But wait, what if it was deleted before it was set to finished? You never got 5 points in the first place, so you don't lose those 5, you just lose 5 points to remind you to follow the rules.
So, you depending how many points you got for submitting the picture will affect how many you lose. If it was unfinished, you never got any.

well now...that sucks lol. i fully understand the system points now..thanks marcello, and my apologies to Merulotte, u were right i was wrong... i STILL think reasons should be given for deletions tho lol..i know i know i'll shut up about it now :O)
marcello (Feb 3, 2004)
In general the reason is "spend more time on your drawing" or "put more (obvious) effort into your drawing"
In this case I'd probably say something like "don't use the freaking texture tools they make a picture look crap"

Axil, I never cease to be amazed by the quality, diversity, and 'boundary pushing' of your work. Keep it up, and as they say..'respect yo'.
Axil62 (Feb 3, 2004)
That's a wonderful compliment. Thank you very much.

EverDream (Feb 5, 2004)
Reminds me alot of a chalk pastel painting. Exquisit work if that's the look you were shooting for. If not then I still like it none the less. ;) Keep it up!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 5, 2004)
Pastels are the other medium I use when I'm too lazy to get out my paints or when I travel. Thanks EverDream.

*gasp!* Home! lol, j/k. Great perspective, and I love the texture on the glass.
Alicia (Feb 5, 2004)
This is so real, I'm glade they cleaned the blood off. I'm more glad the institutions have installed plexiglass.:)
davincipoppalag (Feb 24, 2004)

The daring, the wonder of flight. It never ceases to fascinate me that multi-ton hunks of metal can fly up in the air and come safely and controlledly back. What else does prove the power of science and innovation better than that?

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 2, 2004)
Hey, Sim, tell him not to wear blue mascara. It doesn't compliment his eye color (lol). And stop staring or I'm gonna tell your mom, I swear I will! :P

neat!!! i like his beak!! its all bendy and stuff!!!
thug (Feb 2, 2004)
I thought the beak was a gaping maw, kind of like the scream painting, but only with a chicken. However one interprets it, it is origional.
staci (Feb 2, 2004)
i like it. and i too thought it was a big mouth. i especially like the title : D

Sotalean (Feb 2, 2004)
Yeah I know... it's kind of plain.. *shrugs* Maybe I'll revise him later. *ponders this*
Look (Feb 3, 2004)
I think it'd prefer him have some clothes on... just so it's not plain. but the same time, he looks hot this way. ;)
staci (Feb 3, 2004)
he'd be hotter if he had some nips. (or one) do shirtless anime have nips as a rule?

I get inspiration from the strangest places, lately. ;x In this case, from http://i.myspace.com/77/31/51377/2572526_l.jpg -- It's based on the girl -- but it doesn't mean that it needs to look like her, 'eh? ;)

She is _the_ coolness! Somewhat brings Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to my mind.

And she is _not_ ugly. :/
gothamgirl (Feb 3, 2004)
She's gorgeous, I love the colors!

Kinda looks like Sae from Peach Girl (really cool manga). Same style as the manga. Really cool, though. I luv your style.
