Excellent finish. No colour?
Noremac (Jul 30, 2006)
i have a tendancy to ruin my pictures by coloring them, i figure ill spare this one
unless of course, someone wishes to color it
fleeting_memory (Sep 26, 2006)
this is awesomely sweet-sweet as in awwwww. Love the line art. It looks awesome without the color.

You've come quite a way from your first drawings on here. Great stuff, keep it up.

Wow, my first "official" oekaki. This moment is both melancholy, lackluster, and yet also exciting. I'm suprised this turned out so well. I guess this character is a fairy? I don't use ears that short for my elven characters, so it must be that.

I hate drawing hands that are hold anything roundish >< The pose is reference from a scene in a movie I watched early called A Tale of Two Sisters

Will be back soon to work on it X3<3

Question: Do you guys think I should leave the skin like that, or more like a cell shade? Also what color should his hair and eyes be? I am not sure what to do there.

and then there's some other one..

Not to mention the book by Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities.

We were walking 'long the ocean
Together hand in hand
When I stopped to write "I love you" in the sand
And when I looked up you were standing
Ten miles out at sea
And in a sweat
I woke up from that crazy dream
As I reached to hold you in the morning light
It was just your pillow
I clung to so tight

For a minute there
I thought it was you
for a minute there
My prayers had finally come true
For a minute there
I began again to live
What I wouldn't give
For just a minute there

Love the nasty look his girlfriends giving him as he looks at the girl walking by. LOL.
marcello (Jul 30, 2006)
Congrats Priszcilla! This is awarded first place for Contest Week 23: Zoraw's Secret. This contest weighted conceptual humor as a key component to judging, and this piece exhibits both detail in the art while keeping up with a humorous and interesting composition. Zoraw almost becomes a secondary character in this drawing, exhibiting a strangely anthropomorphic attitude while staying within the bounds of a completely robotic... robot. The blank expression in Zoraw's eyes and expressions of the female characters add ...

In any case, I can't really do this art b.s. stuff. This drawing has cleavage, and that counts for something. The dumpy sunburned nature of Zoraw and the potential for canine urinary ejection in the following moments bring this more-or-less well-colored piece on top. Certainly more work could go into the coloring and lineart for this piece, but most of the entries in this contest had a sketchy quality to them.
