HOMG HAY. I couldn't have spent more than 30 minutes on this. X0 Got booted off Compy-san. I was like "Nooo Compy, I <3 yew" and he was like "Whuteva." =^;x;^= So yes, this is another one of my billions of drawing styles. I think all my doodles are ending up the same. =^e"e^= al;dfjkzdslkfj why can't I stop using orange? I've fallen in love with it~D: I keep drawing people with green hair, too.

I'm so dumb. No more crap from now on, I swear. XD;;

Great emulation of watercolors. This is my favorite work of yours yet.
xiau (Jun 11, 2006)
I missed this? :I
You use the watercolor tool so beautifully ;o; And I like your use of the color orange <3
I adore the eyes ._.
SanzoGirl (Jun 22, 2006)
I love this picture so much. <3
Probably because it reminds me of Kadaj-kun.
It looks so much like him. >w<~<3

The old masters updated.
solve (Jun 19, 2006)
A friend and I were talking about how amazing it would be if the old masters (Davinci, Van gogh, Klimt, etc.) had digital tools at their disposal. If they would use them, do you think their art would be better than what they had done? (Excluding sculpting, etc.) Granted we can never really know, or ask the dead what they think. I do know we have some artists here who (to me) seem more traditional and physically inclined with art and transfer that skill to digital. If any of you would care to...

You are so right hide, I do, and around here I just talk too much, period.
solve (Jun 17, 2006)
Great color choices. Ima steal them sometime.

I support DBAs communiations. I wish more people would open up and express.
Sweetcell (Jun 18, 2006)
Hell if it wasn't for DBA's anecdotes people would take things too seriously like.... *ahem*....

And here I thought this was one of the guys from Deliverance. X)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2006)
Thank you both.... I can't help myself sometimes. I don't talk very much in person anymore... I stopped doing that when I was little and got tagged with "Windy Cindy", and realized no one was listening, anyway. Sorry ya'll are subjected to my rattling on sometimes. :)

Damn, I just talked to you about posting. I come on 2draw and I find this wonderful work of art! One of the great things Ive found in your art and subjects is the brutality of war, among others thing (commerades, "grimness", unity, destruction, etc). I dont know what you have studied/experienced but you always pull/emulate war well.

Anyways Im glad to see this. I like the contrast/focus on the main subject. I also really like the dark ambience around the death like figure.

I agree with Dave, it looks like an Aztec cave painting, or a painting on a pot. Very nice.

Almost has an Aeon Fluxish look. A dynamic face :)
Sweetcell (Jun 20, 2006)
Very futeristic, I love it. I'd clean up the lines but that's just me.

Have you attempted any guys? I know how difficult drawing the male figure is opposed to the female but I'd like to see your version.
Violette (Jun 20, 2006)
Hm. Good idea. Whoa. My keyboard's all screwed up.

I got this pic out of a birding book and modified it some for my drawing. :) I found the markings kind of hard but fun to do. I plan to look through and see if there are any more potential practice worth pics. ;) hehehehe. :D
