I have some advice for aspiring artists who plan on going to college: DON'T TAKE THREE STUDIO ART CLASSES IN ONE SEMESTER! every monday and wednesday i have nine hours of school in a row. No time for lunch. It's pure pain. And the work load is nuts. In fact, i should be doing a project right now, but i felt like doing this instead because the assignment is bullshit.

I had a couple cut & paste kinda classes to get electives in college..but mostly I just wing it.. I learn a lot from the folks here too.

Don't be quick to dump on university art classes... I've only taken 2 drawing classes, but each time I easily improved 10x.

side note-- obviously unfinished, but i'm out of space. if some nice sweet mod wants to grant me a bit more, i'd be grateful, but i'm not going to throw any fits if nobody does. i'll probably just ruin it if i tweak it any more.

He took a huge slug right from the milk container in the fridge, not realizing that it was over 3 weeks old...and was like cottage cheese....oh the horror.... he should have looked at the date first... how awful..

Not bad for a first one. You might want to add a little definition to refine it some, but what I think is cool about it is you can view it as the left or the right eye, just depending on how you think about it when you're looking at it. neat...
