you need to get those vegetables and fruits to calm down before something terrible happens
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 14, 2004)
LOL @ Hedwiga! Don't worry Axil, I can bake you some cookies... you won't starve to death. (And Cloxboy there won't get any) cookies that is... lol :P
davincipoppalag (Apr 14, 2004)
Hey..he cant starve.. he's got a basement fulla horny vegetables!
shell (Mar 1, 2011)
Ok I laughed my ass off. I started off light with some giggles about the horny vegetables and virgin eyes, then it evolved into a "haha jesus down 22nd good one" then "ahahahaha hey seuss funny stuff" and by the time I got to you starving I was laughing so loud my sister came in to check on me. Not that I think world hunger is laughing matter. My cheeks hurt.

This was not so much about getting it "correct" as it was about just trying to convey a feeling, a memory of summers past, an innocence. The colors seemed brighter then and the sun was warm and comfortable, not hot and beating. There were still mysteries to investigate and legends still not proven false. My bike was shiny and new, I was fast as the wind on that thing, there was happiness and hope. Details weren't the point and if someone told me something was impossible, I doubted it.

I got pissed off here a while back, acted like a two year old, threw a fit and blacked em out. No I don't show anything anywhere, I mostly end up just giving it away. I've sold a few but I have no dicipline so I hardly ever paint for real anymore. But I'm going to soon, it's comming, the urge is growing, just not quite yet.
dixielandcutie (Apr 14, 2004)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 14, 2004)
pssst... Pandora... alot of them were totally great on the second to last view, you can click on that and still see them. Some of my favorites here are in his gallery and I still go there and look at them like that. :)

It looks like Burt Reynolds when he had hair! :P

Reminds me of something Suntan would draw. When I first read the title I looked at the spiral going from his bowels to the ground and I thought, "well that's one way to put it". Then I read your description and apparently I was way off.

So....I guess we'll all have to find a place in Utah then eh? :o)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Apr 5, 2004)
Okay, me, you, and Lori... But what's wrong with Wyoming? :) (Although I do know of a nice little place in Utah called Mexican Hat.)
edit: Hah! I just noticed the title! *Runs off to Budget Divorce* (lol)

My first impression was of Harry Belafonte breaking into a round of "Deo". This is very expressive and eye-catching.

DinoFlorist (Mar 31, 2004)
If I were you, I would look up "Autumn Leaves" performed by John Coltraine. One of the most famous and well-known improvisational recordings ever. You can hear great versions by all the greats: Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderly, etc. Get them all.

Oh, and BTW, nice pic.
davincipoppalag (Mar 31, 2004)
Dino good music! Miles is God...

I miss the days when my pc had sound in more ways than I can ever describe. I'm missing out on so much. Autumn leaves, noted.
