Smelling his armpit? O.o that never crossed my mind....In the Trigun Maximum manga the angel arm sort of looks like this when it starts emerging & stuff O.O I kind of went overboard with the wings..

Nice drawing! My gradfather was a navigator in a B-17. Flew over 60 missions, and only missed 1 because he came down with the flu. His commanding officer didn't want him on the plane, told him to stay on the ground. So he stayed on the ground and watched his buddies take off with the rest of the squadron. His plane never returned. The entire flight crew was MIA. Strangely, his plane was the only plane that didn't make it back. Kinda freaky, eh?

Uhh.. GFY Derrick?
Have you tried lineless? Go mess around in Shi Painter with the watercolor tool turned to about 60-100 opacity. It's fun :D. Much easier to define the nose that way using shadows and what not rather than hard lines.
