Just a scetch, I have three unfinished drawings to work on now :). I didn't know whether or not this was advanced quality but I wanted a big canvas, anyway, I should finish this up as soon as I can.... |

Oooo. I love the way you've mixed the desaturated tones of the hat and her skin with the supersaturated colours of her lips, her kimono and the background. The hat is *ahem* well, dammit, amazing. Love the tension in the chin strap/skin and the way you've just managed to hide her eyes from the viewer...so we're always trying to peer up under the edge of the hat. Critiques? Hmmm. That gorgeous bouncelight underneath her chin makes me wish there was a tiny bit of shine on the skin of her cheek. But's that nitpicking. I love this.

It's insane how much subtle texture is in the skin here. I can't begin to imagine how to do this with lascaux sketch, and it'd still be incredible regardless of the medium.

Quick doodle before i go to sleep..picture of Ishmeal and Yanku cudding..er somthing like that..yeah..pink..didnt know it was pink until i finished ~. ~;..to lazy to redo it (That and my wrist are killing meh) so i'll leave you all to enjoy..the pinkish of it all..night

i like that he doesnt stand out from the background..i think thats why i keep coming back to look at it. to figure out exactly what and where he is within the composition of the piece. although its easy to discern once you look for a moment, its the fact that you have to pause at all that i enjoy. if that makes any sense. probably not.
