He's courting the Bumblebee Princess. He cannot resist the essence of honey.
sal (Feb 6, 2004)
cool bear... the colourin on the bear and tie is great....
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 7, 2004)
I love him. Now you have to draw the Bumblebee Princess, please. I am waiting for the next page of the story! *frowns, folds arms, stomps foot and pouts* Next Page! Princess! hurry!
Look (Feb 7, 2004)
I like the texture, it looks like a clay bear. Very soft.
DinoFlorist (Feb 7, 2004)
actually the bumblebee princess has already been drawn. It was a collaboration with Icats, so look there. Though, it doesn't really tell the story... |

A quick picture to state that I am here, and to test out this so-called wonderful drawing program. I think I'll stick with Paint BBS. I draw on oekakis. I usually draw 50 times better than this. But this place looks pretty awesome, aside form the fact that none of the pictures I've seen so far has gotten over 3 comments.
Soshell (Feb 6, 2004)
i always use oekaki-shi because its just plain easier...i dont care about the unlimited layers cuz ..i mean layers are good to have and all but ...i've never used more than four heh. i dont get lascaux at all, but if some people can use it without getting confused then more power to them :) i like this pic its very good for a first
marcello (Feb 6, 2004)
remind me to make a survey as to how people like lascaux... I mean, I and many others find it way easier to use than shipainter advanced...
dixielandcutie (Feb 6, 2004)
honestly lascaux is my favorite...the others are much harder to control in my opinion
Neko (Feb 9, 2004)
Welcome! It's a very nice pic, but maybe it lacks detail? Then again, it's only a quick drawing, ne. |

Can any one guess who? Any way...tried a different approach to upstraight perfected realism, gave it a sketchy artsy look without loosing too much of the original's quality I suppose...I'm not very good at copying from color photo's but at least I tried. Enjoy! ;)

This for some reason reminds me of an Indian character in the very very early episodes of Little House On The Prairie. |

im gonna add a colour "wash" i think, and fine tune some of the details.
Alicia (Feb 4, 2004)
This is out of this world in black and white, I can't even fathom it in color. hmmm this time the layers seem to work ok and cant find any blanks lol, at least none that arent sposed to be there lol.

shes wondering which piece got deleted and why it was ten points taken off when it was only a 5 point piece lol. i really wish when theres an unusual situation like that and double points are taken off the mod could take a sec to explain why. i understand u folks dont have all the timein the world but hey, if i earn 5 points, and its deleted and i lose 5 points, i understand, but i lost ten and id like to have known why.
marcello (Feb 3, 2004)
Time for lesson on points!!!Ok, first, you submit something as unfinished, you get NO points!! wooO! Now, you set it to finished, and woo you get points!!! woo!!! 5 on beginner!!! Ok now someone deletes it, not only do you lose the 5 points you got, but 5 more points to remind you to follow the rules. So that's losing 10 points, but only 5 more than you originally had. But wait, what if it was deleted before it was set to finished? You never got 5 points in the first place, so you don't lose those 5, you just lose 5 points to remind you to follow the rules. So, you depending how many points you got for submitting the picture will affect how many you lose. If it was unfinished, you never got any.
brushes4 (edited Feb 3, 2004)
well now...that sucks lol. i fully understand the system points now..thanks marcello, and my apologies to Merulotte, u were right i was wrong... i STILL think reasons should be given for deletions tho lol..i know i know i'll shut up about it now :O)
marcello (Feb 3, 2004)
In general the reason is "spend more time on your drawing" or "put more (obvious) effort into your drawing"In this case I'd probably say something like "don't use the freaking texture tools they make a picture look crap" ok it was a crappy statementnow its mundane rainbow lace
