Consider this idea: A comic strip board where you could draw your own comic strips, with any level of drawing ability above Crap. Teh Adventules could be in full color!

I think we should enforce a time limit on the beginner board and stick to it. Not let people draw for 4mins and submit it. I know im a noob but i have anger probs. Also with what some people are saying about "More moderators and stuff like that". I really dont think its anyones place to be saying things. But thats just me. I thought I'd make another thread that just puts up a general schedule that I can sticky to the top of this board and change whenever, be sure to check back every once in awhile here, especially on Fridays/Saturdays. Paintchat is up right now, started 6:30pm mountain US time, 11/23/2005. The plan is to have it up the rest of the day. Go paint chat!

i find this painting of mine a bit odd....it reminds me very much of some russian style paintings/statues...almost communistic, but not as good of course

I don't know what you had in mind as your initial intention for this piece, but if it isn't what you envisioned it would be.... be satisfied for what it is now... it's a very interesting piece of art. I like the way the lines and colors meet and are all fluid together. You achieved something very aesthetically pleasing here. |

I want to see if anyone would like to draw some Naruto. It is quickly becoming one of my favourite anime shows to watch and I like the way the characters are drawn. I am currently collecting drawings on my computer so I can draw them in real life. I am much better, lately I drew Yoh Asakura from Shaman King and it turned out quite well. When I upload the pic, I'll show you guys. It is in no way as good or close to as good as the original drawing which can be found on deviant art, but somehow can...

There are a bit too much (to me, anyway) of comments that say "wow" and "awesome" and the occasional "glomps". While my point is NOT the "rules about comments" (DON'T try to argue with me) the praise is meaningless now. any picture thats any good or if its anime gets all these comments all the time. now praise seems to mean practically nothing. What's your opinion?
