creek.. creeek... creeeek...."Where did every one go? Why am i so scared? These dreams... they're so real..." Hehe well thats the opening lines of my book =) im done 2 chapters of it =) its a horror/mystery/adventure book but sadly it will only be distributed to the people in my school for $3 for the first 3 days than it goes up to $5 than again up to $10. im hopeing to make enough prophit from it to get myself a new computer.... i prob wont get that much but i can always hope..... I am also basing my game of this! Of course i'm getting my novel proof read and edited and all before i sell it... same with my game which im hopeing will come out in at least 2 years O.o the novel in less than i year im hopeing. any ways this is a pic of the "Death Rigger" (name might be chainged before book is finished) the oldest of the rigger family... he was born blind and learned how to blend into darkness and shadow... he's a murderor. Each of the rigger family split up in their own way to different sides... manipulating them for their own pleasure. but of course you dont know that yet in the book, seeing as im only at the 3rd chapter (2 finished working on 3rd) i have the whole write up on whats gonna happen but of course i can chainge it as i go..... im thinking of making a comic on it too but im not sure...... @.@ just noticed how much i worte so il stop. C & C if u wish. =) |

Sometimes it does that, I think if you resize your image or what not before you start drawing. I don't know for sure, it's happened to a few of mine and going back to edit is a bitch afterwords. I don't understand what you mean, Quint, by "Maybe you should get away from the 1 pixel line thing." Just my opinion, but I like the style.

Well, Sonic seems pretty popular at the moment...I used to worship that hedgehog and I love the more recent games, too. I just wish they had better voice acting.

Yeah. Bakura has the Ring Yugi has the Puzzle Ishitzu(Isis) has the Tauk/Necklace Shadi has the Anhk and the Scales Pegasus *had* the Eye before Bakura pulled it out of his head o.O Malik/Marik has the Rod which doubles as a dagger :)

I have an unfortunate habit of drawing the forrground BEFORE drawing the background so my backgrounds tend to look more like accents around the front figure, rather than a scene.ah well.

to Shiek-AS far as i can figure it, i still have to START with a back ground layer first, right? i mean, even if i just used a blank one and came back to it after I finished the foreground. It sounds simple, but I ALWAYS FORGET! I know, i know, take some ginco and lay off the bud.

well, what I do, is I start with the figure in the picture, and if i'm doing a "just-color" background, i draw it on a different layer, and then erase inside the lines of the figure. That way, i can draw the background without really affecting the figure! I know, its kinda obvious...nobel prize goes to....SOMEONE ELSE! waaaaaaa...

If you forget to make the background layer before you start, you can always just copy the foreground, make the top layer invisible, erase the bottom layer, and then make the top visible again. That way you can use the bottom layer for the background. I also use that layer to put color on... much, much easier and cleaner than masking. Would that I had discovered all this earlier. :p There should be a board for posting PaintBBS and OekakiBBS tips and tricks. Share the knowledge. |

Thanks for the kind words.I'm not sure how to do any of this......... I've never drawn or painted on the internet before. I'm using a laptop w/mouse and I keep reading all these post about Tablets....I think I want one.
