Well 'he' looks like a she which is why the name David suits him because saw this guy called David andd he had hair kinda like that...except you could tell he was a male. Anyways, thats not the most creative name...Lucifer? I dont know. I hate the name Lucifer but no one evr uses it so its sorta inventive....? |

Here is my second Left hand image. I just started doodling, and then came up with what I thought was a cool image. I think Ravens/Crows are the coolest birds.

I keep coming back to look at this. It reminds me of something but I can't figure out what. Have you ever seen any of those really gorgeous old handpainted porcelain tiles, like from the Victorian era? I can see this as a tile or even a mosaic or stained glass piece. Lovely.

This is a safety save. Lalique is my fursona and in this picture, I wanted to try adding a longer snout and make her a bit bigger. I'm adding her long mane in later but for now, I think she looks pretty good. Darn these impossibly small canvases.

I like her, she's cute. ^w^ Though, with line art in lascaux I put the flow low around 80-ish and the opacity around 130-ish, and I go real slow. XD. I use the the air brush tool.. umm. like the one on the bottom. I then use the eraser set on mid opacity and mid flow, and then clean up the lines to make them even cleaner. X3. If you have any questions on that I would love to try and help. Just note me. <3 the stars on her leg. X3

Giving out my secrets Aaron? :)May I suggest, the upper body looks fine, but her lower body is just too small. Especially her haunches (lower legs, butt) If you use the move tool (making sure flow and opacity are all the way up and anti-alias is unchecked or else you'll get a shadow effect) and move her up a bit and to the left you can make her lower body bigger. She's pretty, but right now she looks distorted. And for the halo, take advantage of the circle tool, you'll get a nice smooth round curve.

Love the concept, ofcourse it's furry. X3. he's adorable. Just to ask, do you know how to use layers? it makes colouring among other things, so much easier. X3

well i know how, but its still somewhat confusing to me, i'll work on layering a bit later in a practice drawing. AH!!! i forgot him a tail :'[[ oh well ill finish this later XD thanksies guys ^^

We ENCOURAGE people to take time here, just look at some of the work in Showcase. Doodles are not greatly accepted or appreciated. As for the layers it's pretty much like Oekaki Shi or BBS. The bottom layer (or layer 1) is the bg and any layer added on is one over the other. You'll find layers on the left of the screen below the window that shows the steps you've taken coloring your picture. There are small icons, place your mouse over the icons and it will tell you which is which (add layer, merge layer, delete, etc.) There are a lot of great tools in Lascaux including a gradient tool (the little purple pink box in the tools section) comes in handy. And to make cleaner lineart try the airbrush on med flow/opacity making thick lines then going back with the erasure to shave it down, takes more time but the result is clean thin smooth lines. And if your a heavy blur tool user.... don't. Please think of the children ;). Nice first piece, again don't worry about taking time here, it's welcomed. Best way to improve. thankies! = ^.^ = you're to sweet to me. and Dk, yeah, tis awesome. Nice work so far. =333 I tried to give her clothes the right texture, leather for the boots and gloves, suede for the bands, and since there werent any texture tools for the vinyl-ish feel of the top and panties I had to improvise with the pen. Im going for a blood bath background because she is a death angel.

Great collab you guys!And psychofox....Now, haven't been here for about 2 months and I was just really surprised when I saw this. I was like "Daaang...he's good." haha what I want to say is that you really did improve A LOT and in a short amount of time too. You should be really proud of what you accomplished here and keep on practicing because it won't be long until you become an elite artist. hehe
