Then as a trick to get a larger canvas click on inter or advanced, send it hidden unfinished then when your done have the mods move it down to the proper level, otherwise you really need to practice more on begginers. Not trying to be a bitch, just helping.

Why don't you zoom in on the canvas so it looks like it has more space when you're drawing? Really, the zoom in/out function is there for a reason, so use it.

Well, after doing a little collab of D. gray-man with Hagaren, I started watching the anime on youtube and I must say; I like it so far. :)
It's kinda strange how it can relate to Fullmetal Alchemist though...

might i suggest trying to use a reference? it really helps when it comes to learning about the details of a face which will in turn help you do it referenceless better in the future.

Bigger lips and smaller eyes. I highly recommend you to use references, especially if it's your first try at realism.
Not very realistic yet but it still looks nice....Gaara rules! >=D
