A character for my possible manga...I never created a manga before so if I ever do decide to do one, it'll be pretty much an experiment for me.Anyway, the name of the person in the front is still undecided (let’s call him: guy A). The guy on the left is his other half (and this person: guy B). Guy A lived with his mother while his father abandoned the family before he was born. He was severely abused by his mother, ever since he was a young child. He was neglected throughout his childhood, no one to help him, no one to save him. He unconsciously developed another persona to be able to endure the constant beating. It was first used as a way of escaping however, guy B gradually became violent. Then one day when he was 9 years old, when guy B emerged, he killed his mother. Guy A just stood in the kitchen when he realized, with a bloody knife in his hand and with his mother's corpse lying in front of him. The plot/character is still loose but this is pretty much the gist of it...it’s a bit clichéd but I can’t think of a creative plot right now. |

ghaaa!! the lineart is so frustrating on paintbbs (I have no idea why I'm trying to use the applet again)...anyways, this is Shin from the manga, NANA. eeh, I tried to do a different kind of shading.

Mmm,The peircings are yummy,But the hand bugs me somewhat.. P: It looks...Backwards? And a little too small... But the colors,Face,Everything else is great.

Is that a cigarette? I'm surprised he isn't burning his eyeball. I love the shading style on this, and the piercings look awesome :D

Although the size and anatomy of the hand are off, and the chin is too pointed, I still like this picture... I like the color choices you made, in addition to the piercings :D However, you should work on the way the chain hangs between the lobe and off centre labret piercings... It doesn't seem natural :(Oh well :D Cool picture nonetheless :) |
