I found an old sketch book from 6th or 7th grade. It looks like the last thing I was working on was cloth. So, I decided to try again. I think the contrast of the folds here may be a bit sharp, giving the cloth an upolstry feel rather than cotton or silk, or polyester or whatever it actually is. Things I learned this draw.....patience pays off and rather strange for a black and white draw, that right clicking acts as an eyedropper tool. Go figure.

Wow, you are browsing way back. And, giving me too much credit. I cut this piece out of a magazine 15 or so years ago. That's all there was to the clipping, no more to copy. ;)

Uhhh, yeah so if you're drawing a guy with long hair like that, I don't think you're intention is to portray the manliest of men in the first place. Well for me I am going to pretend that it is a female cause I'm really not hot for the feminine guys... no really.I won't say much, but I really like the border you added in the last edit, it's a great way to enclose the piece as opposed to leaving it open as it was. This is also one of the only pieces that I've really wanted to go back and look at the progress of the piece, well done! It's also quite amazing how little time you spend on each part and yet getting so much out of it.

I really really like this.The only thing i`ll add is a small object with red in it(complimentary). Maybe a red skipping rope that flows around the flat surface. It may strengthen the composition whilst adding some meaning to it. But dont fill too much of the nice flat area you already have. The rope can maybe start quite low in the picture, then going behind her legs and then forward again. Just an idea though. :) go well mx

great improvement Sal...especially the flower and its leaves etc. :-)The flower fits in better with the rest of the picture now because of the repitition of the sky`s colour. the flowers "branch/stem"(sorry dont know the word now) looks quite 3d now as well. I like the looseness of the way youve done it. go well mx |

shes colorful and i decided to attempt to add color go well:) I wanted to try to keep it warm as she is a warm person:)
