Some kind of Lamborghini... P:
I'm glad I finished it!! Those Lambo-designers are crazy :)
The wheel is a little off balance I think .. but whatever...
This car is safer because you can't talk with the passenger, so you'll just keep your eyes on the road...
And with its acceleration it is recommended. =]

Stuuning piece Roytie, eyes, very hard to get right. Very easy to screw up. You did a perfect job on it. Those lashes are lucious.

Whoa, nice changes you made in finishing this! I like how it looks like one of those CG cell-shaded game characters-very cool :). Do I even need to point out how the horns rule? I didn't think so ;).
Sweetcell (Apr 14, 2006)
Ahh, this is my sign, but I didn't realize my horns are that big. Incredible brainspiller.

Really creative. I like those kind of pics. (I ment the creative ones! not the ones with the boobs... (Although it doesn't really bother me :))
comd (Apr 13, 2006)
That's a very creative concept! I love the texture of the wings.
Opium (Apr 13, 2006)
Thanks sweet, mikron and comd :)
gerbear (Apr 13, 2006)
Incredible shading and like the addition of color to part of it. The wings are just amazing!! I had to blow them up and look more closely they are so cool! I like the original concept too. :) If I might share a tip, I don't do a lot of figure drawing for my own work so I almost always use a ref of some sort to get the proportions and initial positioning right. Then I change change, change to make it mine, but it starts from a solid realistic base. That saves time struggling to get it right and if you do a lot of draws eventually they will all be right without the ref, but that takes lots of work and study. I know, I need that myself!

whatamess

I was thinking while I was painting this about how I keep my oil paints in a big tackle box and I would always squeeze the tube wrong and the seam in the back would break or the tube would get a hole in it and while I was painting I'd get all engrossed in what I was doing, squeeze the tube to replace a color I had run out of, and paint would squirt out from 3 different directions and then I figured, why bother putting the lid back on, and throw it in the box and then the tubes would stick together and dry up. I wonder if anybody else is that sloppy.

Sweetcell (Apr 2, 2006)
It's stunning, I liked the hair in V2, but this is good too. Just maybe soften some of the soft edges and it'll be perfect. Really Hopless, don't rag on this. It's great.

I wont those lips btw. Maybe I'll get me a lip implant.

Based on a short story written by a dear friend:

She sat on the edge of the bed and realized she was craving a cigarette. Not that she really knew what it would feel like to desire it, having never smoked, but there were certain times in her life when she’d had the distinct feeling that if she were, in fact, a smoker, that she would be lighting one up: the day she left her well paying job to risk starting her own business, the moment after she closed the deal on her house, and now, watching the pool of blood spread out from under the matted black hair lying on the ground before her. The desire stemmed not so much from the desire to calm her nerves but rather as a compliment to the immense sense of satisfaction she felt at those times.

A glance down at the massive lump of flesh, the belly fat rolling out the sides, the legs splayed, arms arching around the head, making him look like the grotesque lovechild of a sumo wrestler and a ballerina.

She imagined inhaling the sweet smoke deeply into her lungs and nudged him with the toe of her white patent leather pumps. Jiggle and settle. She did it again, harder. Once again, jiggle and settle. She nodded, satisfied, and imagined exhaling the smoke, watching it curl lazily towards the motionless ceiling fan.

For some reason she thought she’d hear sirens about now; wasn’t that always the way it worked? Other than the ordinary rise and fall of the traffic outside, she heard nothing. No bolt of lightning from God, no sudden appearance of her mother, no cops circling the house with weapons drawn. And so it was then; revenge was not played out under the lights of the big stage but quietly executed in the wings.

She tossed the remainder of her smouldering cigarette on his waxy back and disappeared like smoke out the door.
