I like that bg a lot
Sweetcell (Apr 27, 2006)
Wow, great one, love that background. Like the opening of a concert or music video or a James Bond opening like mikron said, or one of the Angels focused on. Tan, doing so wonderfully.

whatamess

I was thinking while I was painting this about how I keep my oil paints in a big tackle box and I would always squeeze the tube wrong and the seam in the back would break or the tube would get a hole in it and while I was painting I'd get all engrossed in what I was doing, squeeze the tube to replace a color I had run out of, and paint would squirt out from 3 different directions and then I figured, why bother putting the lid back on, and throw it in the box and then the tubes would stick together and dry up. I wonder if anybody else is that sloppy.

Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.

Sung by DEATH X)

All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind the sun or the rain (we can be like they are)
Come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Baby take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Baby I'm your man
La-la-la-la-la la-la-la-la-la

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity (Romeo and Juliet)
40,000 men and women everyday (like Romeo and Juliet)
40,000 men and women everyday (redefine happiness)
Another 40,000 coming everyday (we can be like they are)
Come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Baby take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Baby I'm your man
La-la-la-la-la la-la-la-la-la

Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn't go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew then disappeared
The curtains flew then he appeared (saying don't be afraid)
Come on baby (and she had no fear)
And she ran to him (then they started to fly)
They looked backward and said goodbye (she had become like they are)
She had taken his hand (she had become like they are)
Come on baby (don't fear the reaper)

Stuuning piece Roytie, eyes, very hard to get right. Very easy to screw up. You did a perfect job on it. Those lashes are lucious.

The text makes me think of postage stamps. Interesting color choices, and I mean that. Your color choices interest me. I'm interested.

Thanks Axil..oh wait, I mean Zack. ;)
Thanks everyone, lol "seriously solid".
Sweetcell (Apr 18, 2006)
So very Elton John, and it looks like the style that Ren and Stimpy is done in. That and Dexters Lab and the Power Puff Girls. I don't know who the animators are but this looks like that style.

Makes me smile :)

a boy in Barrio Nuevo in Costa Rica.... used my photo as a reference. an attempt at "realism" or w/e you wish to call it. and no i wasn't lazy and didn't wanna draw his hand.... he was born like that, with a "nub" (i think is right word)

but yea, i know.... it sucks.... i tried and i failed. it's just not my thing.lol.

Well that's how you learn...
you try and you try and you keep on trying...
until you get the result you wanted..
I, for instance, mess up in my drawings all the time, and then I invest some time to improve it,
and while doing this I earn more experience so next time It'll be more easy for me (or maybe I just have to change my lousy technique :P).
