marcello, what about a sprite board. And limit to 60 x 60 or something. then let the user draw several frames, and wiht a java app, play the images in sequence ... just an idea, even without animation a sprite board would be cool

Another 16x16. I have YET another problem, heh. Can I resize the image so the pixels will be bigger and people will be able to see it better? |

Heh. Here's a little 16x16 sprite I drew. He looks pretty cool when he's not zoomed in.BTW. 2Draw needs better paletting tools. I want to be able to type in value of R, G, and B so I can get exact values.
marcello (edited Apr 17, 2002)
You actually can get more specific values with the sliders. If you click and drag, then move the mouse above or below the bar, the further you go, the 'slower' it drags, giving you full control over the numbers.I do plan on adding some more javascript palette helpers though.

Heh. Thanks for the tip. Now I can get shades to look right. |

I drew an FF6 style sprite, or at least I tried, heh.
marcello (edited Apr 17, 2002)
Ok, fixed the bug. I still had some old code that set the minimum canvas size to 32x32.Now it just uses the same size unedited when you continue. |

how do layers work?
marcello (edited Apr 12, 2002)
Click the little layer0/layer1 button on the bottom left of the toolbar. Whichever layer is selected will be drawn on. If you right click, it'll hide the selected layer (toggle). If you want to erase off the top layer (transparency), use the White tool. If you want to move something from one layer to the other, switch to the layer you want to move to, then use the lay-unif and drag a rectangle around whatever you want to move. |

I like Omaha because it is funny because there are people who say "HEIL HITLER" and then the American goes "Damned Nazis!" and then there is a loud sound and later there is only American and some red stuff on the floor with a heap of somethings that looks like person but isn't because persons are living. |

anyway, still dunno how I'll go about it, I could do it in realtime with javascript if that sounds good...
