Marcello can you please move the picture titled "Remake" by myself from the public/large board to the members/regular board. I checked and it is 400 x 400 so therefore within specified limits. I ask you to do this because I am really ashamed of the background and I can't edit it whilst it is on the large board >:( anyway get back to me

Gyaaaaaah! This could have been so much better, had I put the black lines on the TOP layer, as opposed to the bottom. >_< I had to use light colors to disguise the problems as much as possible. @_@

looks pretty good, and your webcomic is pretty cool. :-)A tip, if you draw lines on the BG layer by mistake, you can use the layerUnify tool to move them to the top layer. Select the tool, then switch to the fg layer, and drag a rectangle across the entire canvas, that should do it.

I know how to do that. That's not the problem. The blue lines that I used as my base were merged with the black. Hence... blue and white speckies clinging to the nice pretty black lines. -____-;;; I did this before, long ago. Gyar. Frustrating. But thanks about the comic. ^_^ Gotta update it more.. someday...

My very first picture with a tablet!!! :-) I'm very happy, I love the tablet. It's so much easier than drawing with the mouse!

Thanks. I'm still very bad in coloring.... hope you don't mind some two-colored pictures until I figure out how to color well and use the layers properly..

still spiffy, I like your use of the non-circular brush (not used much from what I've seen, not well anyway)As for layers, if you really love an image, you can always trace onto a new layer, usually gives you nicer/cleaner lines anyway. (takes friggen forever though) |

Ah, crap. I suck at "shadowing"... At least you can see what's happening up there. Yep, that's me, contemplating the last moment before Halley's Comet enters in collision with the Earth. Ouch.

Actually I find the shading rather interesting. But if you want a tip on more 'comic/cartoon' style cel shading, try setting the mask tool to your outline color (the button that says "Normal" can be changed to "Mask", "ReMask", etc.), then you can safely draw without destroying your lines. Then just pick single darker colors with the regular brush (not water color), and draw!

Looks good, welcome to 2draw!I can move it if you like, but it's not a big deal which board a pic is on unless it sucks/is a waste of time (then it'd probably be deleted).

This time I remembered starting on the upper layer and could color underneath... *g* Next thing will surely be monochrome again, I promise!
