Contest Week 104: Emotions So, hardly anyone entered the last contest. LAME. all of you suck, however SEND ME YOUR CONTEST SUGGESTIONS, and you might just get your contest idea picked. Whenever I try to open lascaux lately I get a message that "the application's digital signature has an error"... that it is expired. If I click cancel, I can draw. I have not tried to click OK. Marcello, do you know what it's all about?

If you have not yet upgraded, you may want to! The new version of Java is faster and now fully compatible with the upcoming Windows Vista. Get Java 6 here: Also, if you are using JTablet, you will need reinstall it after updating your Java (as you always will need to). Going back to Oekaki was quite an "experience". I decided to brave the advanced board and put some real effort into the piece.Then, when I was 3/4 done, some weird "shifting" thing happened that I couldn't undo. I ragequit, but then decided to go back and see if I could possibly fix it. The whole thing was at like 10% opacity and stuff was overlaid all over, but I got it looking reasonable. The original colour scheme was completely lost, though >.< |

I have tried each of the applets to see which I dig and I am fond of animation and the ability to watch a painting process. I noticed while browsing that when I click the watch animation link for anything drawn with Chibipaint it doesn't work. the picture disappears like it should but the animation applet doesn't load. It may be my OS/Browser combo or maybe I need to update my plug in or extensions but before I go looking I thought I'd ask if it was just me or not. Am I alone with thi...

My first and last contirbute to the theme board as is my last contribute to 2draw as well. I've decided to leave under circumstances of feeling it being unfair that I'm unable to support the site by donation, as Marcello has so bluntly stated many times that he needs to keep this wonderful site up and running, and therefore will not take advantage of such a despirate situation. I've enjoyed all the lovely comments on my work here on 2draw as the talent of the many other artists. And so with out further adue...I leave you all in the midst with this image and say farewell and happy sketching for those who've come to love Oekaki as I have. ~Chow

i know it takes a lot of skill to properly rip off a picture off the internet of a final fantasy picture, but this is just amazing. i like how his eyes are unnaturally and freakishly long and none of the textures match or look good in any context. good job

:P ....done! Even with a tablet it sure does take some effort let me tell you! Some things I see that still need fixing but their small and I don't really think that they detire from the pic that much so I'm not going to bother. Heh....no referance use of any kind. I should draw when I'm pissed or stressed more often! My best works seem to come from those times. *shrugs* Any ways....Have a HAPPY "VALENTINE"s day! *I know bad joke* :D Enjoy

I was trying to move the entire drawing up by about 30 px, but nothing happened. Tried selecting the entire image and moving it down, and after a long pause, the whole image was shifted - at an extremely low opacity.
I ended up with "ghost" features all over the place; extra eyes, extra lips, extra nose, and I had to clone the layer and multiply it until you could actually SEE the drawing.

end result looks great though.
