ALRIGHT. I am saying this in defense of Becca (quin); Mazi, you're right. It was taking her forever, because she's spiraling inward, pixel by pixel. Therefore, she basically had to change her brush color every pixel. It's GOING to be a portrait of Faith (Eliza Dushku) from Buffy, because Faith is a sexay bitch. And now Becca's probably gonna hang me by my toenails for telling. Ah, well.

Apparently someone linked some of my images, and now they're turned to crap with 'don't direct link! 2draw forever!' on them. Is there anyway to restore my images at all? Or are they permanently scarred? If you're going to try to prevent hotlinking, an angelfire-type roadblock might work better than defacing pictures. You might also do well to mention the fact that hotlinking isn't allowed in the FAQ, so people wouldn't even try.

Does anyone here watch anime? i saw something anime the other day, and the movie kind of paused in this one part where a guy was running and instead of just pausing on that frame, a duplicate of that image was used that had these black lines (kind of like speed lines) all over it. what are those called and what is the correct way to use those?

I'm guessing the majority of 2draw'ers watch anime. They're weird like that.
As for what it's called, japanese cartoon... it's pretty lame if you ask me.

lol weird like that.... " Emotional speed lines: Regular speed lines are used to indicate something zipping around. These were invented by comic strip artists who have to work with still frames only. Say that a baseball is traveling from right to left across a comic strip panel. The artist draws a baseball in the middle of the panel, but without the speed lines, the reader has no idea which direction the ball is going. To show that the ball is moving from right to left, a few horizontal lines are drawn to the right of the ball making the ball look like it might have hair (but no one seems to see it that way). When used to accent extreme shock or fear in anime, these lines are usually very thin, straight, long and vibrating. I suppose one is to "feel" the intensity of the emotion being projected by the character by actually seeing it streaming out of him.

Marcello: On every picture I see there aren't comments when there were before and I see this strange message: Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /Disk2/home/cellosoft/public_html/2draw/inc_lnf.php on line 346 Some say (instead of the "on line 346") No messages. *Nanashi gets blown in from a violent storm coming from Fernblossom oekaki. Her finger accidentally slips, and clicks a strange button on the keyboard, and before she knew it, she had blown into this strange desert. She looks around, confuzzled by this ancient PaintBBS program. Frantically, she searches for a darken palet tool, or different palets at all, yet there is none. Slowly, she waves good by to her hyena partner, as she may never see him again, lost at this sea of a desert. She continues to travel, wander this strange board, in search of a familiar face... in search of someone who might have too blown in from her oekaki, yet there is no one. Only the deadly silence fills the air as she lowers her head, draws her cloak, and begins to walk the dusty path of lonelyness, hence her name Nanashi, or no name, the wandering oekakier. Now far from her home at Fernblossom, she continues to make her way through the dark and lonley desert* Oooh, its so cold here at night...
